1. Cancellation Policy
- 1.1 You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to paid features until the subscription expires.
- 1.2 We do not process retroactive cancellations for the current billing cycle. This ensures all users receive full value from their activated subscriptions.
2. Refund Policy
- 2.1 All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or otherwise stated in this policy. We grant full access immediately upon purchase; therefore, refunds for standard subscriptions are not offered.
- 2.2 Goodwill Refunds: If you are not satisfied with the service, you may request a refund within 48 hours of purchase. A processing fee of ₹199 will be deducted from the refund amount.Note: This goodwill refund is only applicable once per customer and does not apply to renewals or repeated purchases.
- 2.3 Payment Gateway Charges: Payment gateway fees of up to 2–3% plus applicable GST will not be refunded, as these are non-recoverable costs incurred at the time of payment processing.
- 2.4 In the event of technical failures that prevent access to the service for more than 48 consecutive hours, you may request a pro-rated refund for the affected period. Such requests must be made within 7 days of the outage.
- 2.5 If KanoonGPT is unable to provide access to the Services for reasons other than scheduled maintenance or force majeure, you may be eligible for a pro-rated refund for the downtime period. Requests must be submitted within 7 days of the disruption.
- 2.6 Approved refunds will be:
- Processed within 7 business days of approval
- Issued to the original method of payment
- Expected to arrive within 14 business days, subject to payment provider timelines
- 2.7 This policy is subject to applicable Indian consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
3. No Proration for Service Non-Use
Subscriptions are billed in full at the start of each term. We do not provide prorated credits or partial refunds for periods of non-use, except in cases of service unavailability as outlined above.
4. Free Trial
If you sign up for a free trial, you may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid charges. After the trial period, you must explicitly subscribe to a paid plan to continue access.
5. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notifications. Continued use of the Services after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
