UP PCS-J eligibility is fixed in the UPPSC Civil Judge notification. Core filters are Indian citizenship, a recognised LL.B., fitness for enrolment as an advocate, and age within the band stated for that recruitment (commonly discussed in public guides as roughly 22–35 for general candidates, with SC/ST/OBC and other relaxations).
