Explanation using Example

Imagine an employee named Ravi who works in a manufacturing company. He notices that his employer has made an unauthorized deduction from his salary. Ravi decides to take action and files an application under section 15 of The Payment of Wages Act, 1936, to the authority responsible for hearing such disputes. While his application is pending, Ravi cannot approach a regular civil court to file a separate suit for the same recovery of wages because of the provisions of section 22 of the Act.
