Explanation using Example

Example 1:

Ravi, a 25-year-old man, forcibly snatches a gold chain from a woman walking on a busy street in Mumbai during the daytime. He threatens her with a knife to ensure she does not resist. Ravi is caught by the police and charged with robbery under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. Since the robbery occurred during the day and not on a highway, Ravi faces rigorous imprisonment for up to ten years and may also be fined.

Example 2:

Late at night, around 11 PM, on a deserted highway near Delhi, two men, Arjun and Vikram, stop a car by blocking the road with their motorcycle. They threaten the driver with a gun and forcefully take his wallet, mobile phone, and other valuables. The police later apprehend Arjun and Vikram. Since the robbery was committed on a highway between sunset and sunrise, under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code, they face rigorous imprisonment for up to fourteen years and may also be fined.
