Example 1:
Ravi, who has a long-standing dispute with his neighbor, Mr. Sharma, decides to break into Mr. Sharma's house at night. Before entering, Ravi arms himself with a metal rod, intending to harm Mr. Sharma if he encounters him. Ravi's actions constitute house-trespass with preparation for causing hurt. Under Section 452 of the Indian Penal Code, Ravi can be punished with imprisonment for up to seven years and may also be fined.
Example 2:
Sunita, angry with her colleague Meena, plans to confront her at her home. Sunita brings along a rope, intending to tie Meena up if she resists. Sunita enters Meena's house without permission and waits for her to return. This act of house-trespass with preparation for wrongful restraint falls under Section 452 of the Indian Penal Code. Sunita can face imprisonment for up to seven years and may also be fined.
