Explanation using Example

Example 1:

Ravi is walking down a busy street in Mumbai. Suddenly, Ajay, who is upset with Ravi over a previous argument, intentionally bumps into Ravi with significant force, causing Ravi to stumble and nearly fall. Ajay did this without Ravi's consent and with the intention of causing Ravi fear and annoyance. Ajay's actions constitute criminal force under Section 350 of the Indian Penal Code.

Example 2:

Priya is sitting in a park in Delhi, reading a book. Ramesh, who wants to scare Priya, throws a small stone towards her. The stone hits the ground near Priya and splashes mud onto her clothes. Ramesh did this intentionally, knowing it would likely cause Priya annoyance and fear. Since Ramesh used force without Priya's consent and with the intention to annoy her, his actions fall under the definition of criminal force as per Section 350 of the Indian Penal Code.
