Explanation using Example

Example 1:

A group of ten people gathers in a public park to protest against a new government policy. The protest starts peacefully but soon turns into a heated argument among the participants, causing a disturbance to the public peace. The police arrive and lawfully command the group to disperse. However, five of the protestors refuse to leave and continue their assembly. These five individuals can be charged under Section 151 of the Indian Penal Code for knowingly continuing in an assembly likely to cause a disturbance of the public peace after being commanded to disperse.

Example 2:

During a local festival, a group of six friends starts playing loud music and dancing in the middle of a busy street, blocking traffic and causing inconvenience to the public. The police arrive and instruct the group to disperse and clear the street. Despite the command, the group continues their activity, ignoring the police's orders. In this scenario, the six friends can be charged under Section 151 of the Indian Penal Code for knowingly continuing in an assembly likely to cause a disturbance of the public peace after being lawfully commanded to disperse.
