- Therefore, his salary will be calculated as follows:
- Base salary for a Supreme Court Judge: ₹9,000 per month
- Deductions:
- Pension: ₹2,000
- Commuted value: ₹1,000
- Pension equivalent of gratuity: ₹500
- Total deductions: ₹3,500
- Final salary: ₹9,000 - ₹3,500 = ₹5,500 per month
Outcome:
- Mr. Sharma will receive a salary of ₹5,500 per month as a Supreme Court Judge.
