Example 1:

Scenario: A resident of Andhra Pradesh wants to understand the territorial boundaries of their state as per the Constitution of India.

Explanation: The territories of Andhra Pradesh are defined by various acts and amendments. For instance, the Andhra State Act, 1953, and the States Reorganisation Act, 1956, initially defined the state's boundaries. Later, the Andhra Pradesh and Madras (Alteration of Boundaries) Act, 1959, and the Andhra Pradesh and Mysore (Transfer of Territory) Act, 1968, further modified these boundaries. Practical Example: Suppose a person owns land in a region that was part of Andhra Pradesh before the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014. The owner needs to refer to the specific acts mentioned to understand the legal implications and jurisdiction changes due to the reorganisation.

Additionally, the Constitution (One Hundredth Amendment) Act, 2015, also affected Assam's boundaries.

Practical Example: If a business owner has a factory in a region that was part of Assam but was later transferred to Nagaland under the State of Nagaland Act, ...
