Explanation using Example
Imagine Rahul sells a piece of land to Priya with the condition that she will build a school on it within no specified time frame. Priya initially agrees, but instead, she decides to convert the land into a permanent parking lot. By doing so, Priya has made it impossible to build the school, which was the condition of the transfer. According to Section 33 of the Transfer of Property Act, 1882, Priya has broken the condition of the property transfer because she has permanently rendered the performance of the act (building a school) impossible.
