Imagine Sarah orders a dress online which is delivered with a "try before you buy" option. According to Section 24 of The Sale of Goods Act, 1930, the dress becomes Sarah's property:
- (a) if Sarah sends a message to the seller saying she loves the dress and wants to keep it, indicating her approval;
- (b) or, if Sarah doesn't communicate her decision but keeps the dress past the 30-day trial period provided by the seller, the dress automatically becomes hers when that period expires.
