Imagine the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) is in need of a new Director. As per Section 20(1) of The Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology Act, 2007, the Central Government will appoint the new Director. The terms and conditions of the appointment, such as salary and tenure, will be as per the rules provided by the Statutes.
