Imagine Rita, an adult worker at a tea plantation, has worked for 240 days in the past year. According to Section 30(1)(a) of The Plantations Labour Act, 1951, she is entitled to 12 days of leave with wages (240 days / 20). Now, let's say Rita worked half days on some occasions.
