The parel investments and trading private limited and domestic gas private limited (taking over of management) repeal act, 2005

The Parel Investments and Trading Private Limited and Domestic Gas Private Limited (Taking Over of Management) Repeal Act, 2005 was enacted to repeal the Parel Investments and Trading Private Limited and Domestic Gas Private Limited (Taking Over of Management) Act, 1976. The latter Act was passed to take over the management of the two companies due to their alleged involvement in anti-national activities. However, the repeal act was passed due to the change in the political climate and the need to encourage private investment in the country.
