Explanation using Example

Imagine a scenario where an individual named Raj has a farm where he secretly cultivates coca plants, which are the source of cocaine. Despite knowing that it's illegal without a license as per The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, Raj continues to grow these plants. One day, the authorities receive a tip-off and raid Raj's farm. They find several coca plants and evidence that Raj has been harvesting coca leaves. Under Section 16 of the Act, Raj could face rigorous imprisonment for up to ten years and a fine of up to one lakh rupees for his unlawful cultivation and possession of coca leaves.
