Explanation using Example
Imagine Sarah was injured in a car accident and wants to claim compensation for her injuries. Since there is a Claims Tribunal constituted for the area where the accident occurred, Sarah must file her claim there. She cannot go to a regular Civil Court for this matter. Furthermore, if Sarah is unhappy with any action the Tribunal is taking regarding her claim, she cannot ask a Civil Court to stop or interfere with the Tribunal's proceedings through an injunction. The Claims Tribunal has exclusive jurisdiction over her compensation claim.
