Explanation using Example

Example Application of Section 122 of The Motor Vehicles Act, 1988:

Imagine John's car breaks down in the middle of a busy intersection, and instead of moving it to the side of the road, he leaves it right there to go find a mechanic. This causes a traffic jam and blocks an ambulance that's on an emergency call. Under Section 122 of The Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, John could be held responsible for causing danger and inconvenience to other users of the road because he allowed his vehicle to remain in a place where it could obstruct traffic and did not take appropriate action to mitigate the issue.
