Explanation using Example

Imagine that Person A convinces Person B to beat up Person C, intending only to injure C. Person B follows through and attacks C, but unexpectedly, C dies from the injuries. If it was known or should have been known to Person A that the attack could be fatal, then, under Section 113 of The Indian Penal Code, Person A could be held responsible for the death of C, just as if A had intended to kill C from the beginning.
