Explanation using Example
Imagine a factory owner is illegally drawing electricity by tampering with the meter to reduce his bills. This act falls under the offences mentioned in Sections 135 to 140 of the Electricity Act, 2003. When the electricity board discovers this, they can immediately have the owner arrested without a warrant due to the provisions of Section 151B. Since the offence is non-bailable, the factory owner cannot get immediate bail and must appear before a judge to seek bail.
