Imagine a scenario where a company, XYZ Pvt Ltd, was required to file a particular form with the Registrar of Companies (ROC) detailing changes in the directorship within 30 days of the change, as mandated by the Companies Act. In this situation, under Section 460 of the Companies Act, 2013, XYZ Pvt Ltd can apply to the Central Government explaining the reasons for the delay in filing.
