Explanation using Example
Example 1:
Rajesh is accused of disturbing the peace in his neighborhood by playing loud music late at night. The police file a report, and Rajesh is summoned to court. During the hearing, the judge decides to issue an order requiring Rajesh to keep the peace for the next six months. Since Rajesh is present in court, the judge reads the order aloud to him. Rajesh, who is not very fluent in legal language, requests that the substance of the order be explained in simpler terms. The judge then explains to Rajesh that he must not engage in any activities that disturb the peace of his neighborhood for the next six months, or he will face further legal consequences.
Example 2:
Meena is brought to court on charges of public nuisance for repeatedly blocking the entrance to a local market with her street vending stall. The court decides to issue an order requiring Meena to refrain from setting up her stall in that location. Meena is present in court when the order is made. The judge reads the order to her, but Meena, who has difficulty understanding Hindi, asks for an explanation in her native language, Tamil. The court arranges for a translator who explains to Meena that she must not set up her stall at the market entrance anymore, and if she does, she will be penalized.
