Example 1:
Scenario: A criminal court in Mumbai needs to summon XYZ Pvt. Ltd., a corporation registered in India, for a hearing related to a financial fraud case.
Application of Section 63:
- The court issues a summons addressed to the secretary of XYZ Pvt. Ltd.
- The court's process server delivers the summons directly to the secretary at the company's registered office in Mumbai.
- Alternatively, the court sends the summons via registered post to the chief officer of XYZ Pvt. Ltd. at their head office in Mumbai.
- The service of the summons is considered complete when the registered post would normally be delivered in the ordinary course of mail.

- The court issues a summons addressed to the local manager of ABC Society.
