Example 1:

Scenario: Ramesh is walking home from work when he sees a police officer chasing a man who appears to be fleeing. The police officer shouts to Ramesh to help stop the man.

Application of Section 37: Ramesh is legally required to assist the police officer in capturing the fleeing man. This is because the police officer is authorized to arrest the man, and Ramesh's assistance is reasonably demanded to prevent the man's escape.

Example 2:

Scenario: During a local festival, a large crowd gathers, and a fight breaks out between two groups. The situation escalates, and a Magistrate present at the scene asks nearby shopkeepers, including Sita, to help calm the crowd and prevent further violence.

Application of Section 37: Sita is legally obligated to assist the Magistrate in preventing or suppressing the breach of peace. Her assistance is reasonably demanded to help control the situation and restore order.

Example 3:
