Scenario: Rajesh wins a civil lawsuit in the Delhi High Court against a company based in Mumbai. The court orders the company to pay Rajesh ₹10 lakhs as compensation. However, the company does not have sufficient assets in Delhi to satisfy the decree.

Application of Rule 6:

  1. The Delhi High Court decides to send the decree to the Mumbai City Civil Court for execution.
  2. The Delhi High Court sends:
    • (a) A copy of the decree ordering the company to pay ₹10 lakhs to Rajesh.
    • (b) A certificate stating that the decree has not been satisfied within the jurisdiction of the Delhi High Court.
    • (c) A copy of any order for the execution of the decree, or a certificate stating that no such order has been made.
