Explanation using Example

Imagine a scenario where the Bar Council of India (BCI) issues an order regarding the accreditation of a new law college. The college, however, presents new evidence that it has improved its infrastructure and faculty since the BCI's initial assessment. The BCI, using Section 48AA of The Advocates Act, 1961, decides to review its previous order within sixty days from the date of the original order. After reviewing the new evidence, the BCI may choose to reverse or modify its initial decision, thus allowing the law college to be accredited.
