Example of Article 144 of the Constitution of India:
Suppose the Supreme Court issues a directive to the state government to take certain measures for environmental protection. According to Article 144, all civil authorities in that state, such as the State Pollution Control Board and municipal corporations, are constitutionally required to comply with and assist in the implementation of the Supreme Court's directive. Similarly, if a case requires judicial authorities to enforce a decision made by the Supreme Court, local courts must also aid in its enforcement.
