The Rampur Raza Library  Act, 1975

The Rampur Raza Library Act, 1975 was enacted to provide for the better administration of the Rampur Raza Library, which is one of the richest repositories of Indo-Islamic cultural heritage in the world. The Act establishes a board of trustees to manage the affairs of the library, defines their powers and duties, and provides for the establishment of a fund to finance the activities of the library. The Act also empowers the trustees to make rules and regulations for the preservation, maintenance, and use of the library's collections and facilities, and for the admission of visitors and researchers.
