Explanation using Example
Imagine a scenario where a worker named Anil is employed in a factory. The factory manager, Mr. Sharma, has been named as the manager under the Factories Act, 1948. As per Section 3 of The Payment of Wages Act, 1936, it is Mr. Sharma's responsibility to ensure that Anil receives his wages on time. If Mr. Sharma fails to do so, the employer (factory owner) is ultimately responsible for making sure Anil is paid.
