Explanation using Example
Imagine you have a legal claim against someone and the last day to file the lawsuit is on March 31st. However, on that day, the court is closed due to a public holiday. According to Section 4 of The Limitation Act, 1963, you are allowed to file your lawsuit on the next day the court is open, say April 1st, without your claim being barred by limitation.
