The Indian Soldiers (Litigation) Act, 1925

The Indian Soldiers (Litigation) Act, 1925 is an Act that provides for the regulation of suits and claims by Indian soldiers. The Act lays down the procedure for filing such suits and claims, and also provides for the appointment of an officer to act as the legal adviser to the soldier. The Act also provides for the protection of the interests of the soldier, and lays down the procedure for appeals and reviews. The Act is applicable to all soldiers serving in the Indian Army, the Indian Navy, and the Indian Air Force.
