Ravi has committed a criminal breach of trust under Section 405 of the Indian Penal Code.

Priya is a warehouse owner in Chennai. Ramesh, a businessman, entrusts Priya with his goods for safekeeping while he is traveling abroad. There is a contract that states Priya will return the goods upon Ramesh's return and payment of the storage fee. Instead, Priya sells Ramesh's goods without his permission and uses the money for her own purposes. Priya has committed a criminal breach of trust under Section 405 of the Indian Penal Code.
