Explanation using Example

Example 1:

Ravi is walking to his office when his neighbor, Suresh, blocks his path and refuses to let him pass. Despite Ravi's repeated requests to move aside, Suresh continues to obstruct his way for over 15 minutes. Ravi is unable to reach his office on time due to this delay. In this scenario, Suresh has wrongfully restrained Ravi, and under Section 341 of the Indian Penal Code, Suresh can be punished with simple imprisonment for up to one month, or with a fine up to five hundred rupees, or both.

Example 2:

Priya is driving her car on a public road when a group of protesters forms a human chain and blocks the road, preventing her from proceeding further. Priya is stuck in her car for over an hour because of the blockade. The protesters have wrongfully restrained Priya by not allowing her to move freely. According to Section 341 of the Indian Penal Code, the individuals involved in the protest can be punished with simple imprisonment for up to one month, or with a fine up to five hundred rupees, or both.
