Explanation using Example

Example 1:

Ravi is a shopkeeper in a small town. One evening, a group of armed robbers enters his shop and threatens to kill him if he does not hand over all the money in the cash register. Fearing for his life, Ravi complies and gives them the money. Under Section 94 of the Indian Penal Code, Ravi would not be held criminally liable for giving the money to the robbers because he was compelled to do so under the threat of instant death.

Sunita is a blacksmith living in a village. One night, a gang of dacoits breaks into her house and threatens to kill her if she does not help them break into the local bank. They force her to take her tools...
