Explanation using Example
Imagine you own a piece of artwork and you owe money to your friend. You authorize your friend to sell the artwork and use the proceeds to settle the debt you owe them. According to Section 202 of The Indian Contract Act, 1872, you cannot cancel this arrangement unless there's a specific agreement that allows you to do so, even if you become mentally incapacitated or pass away.
