The Delhi University Act, 1922

The Delhi University Act, 1922 was enacted to establish and incorporate a teaching and residential university in Delhi. The act provides for the constitution and powers of the university and its affiliated colleges, the appointment and powers of the Vice-Chancellor, the procedure for the appointment of teachers, and the powers and functions of various authorities of the university. The act also covers the financial provisions for the university and its affiliated colleges.
