The Delhi Laws (Special Provisions) Act, 2006

The Delhi Laws (Special Provisions) Act, 2006 was enacted to provide for the regulation of certain unauthorized colonies and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. The Act establishes the regularization of unauthorized colonies in Delhi by providing for their development, construction, and maintenance, among other provisions. It also sets up an authority to oversee the implementation of the Act and deal with complaints and disputes arising from it. The Act also provides for the constitution of a fund for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of the Act.
