- CHAPTER V: TERM OF COPYRIGHT
In the case of Government work, where Government is the first owner of the copyright therein, copyright shall subsist until sixty years from the beginning of the calendar year next following the year in which the work is first published.

Simplified Act
If a work is created by the government, and the government is the first one to hold the copyright, the copyright will last for 60 years. This 60-year period starts from January 1st of the year after the work was first made available to the public.
