The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Act, 1985

The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Act, 1985 was enacted by the Indian government to regulate the export of agricultural and processed food products from India. The act established the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), which is responsible for the development and promotion of the export of agricultural and processed food products. The act defines the functions and powers of the APEDA and provides for the constitution of the APEDA Fund.
